Xiao Wu is a singer and songwriter from China. She enjoys making music and creating songs by singing, playing guitar and double bass. During her time in China, she worked full time as a singer and performed in bars, restaurants and weddings. She also organized music events such as singing competitions and music festivals with hundreds to thousands of participants. Eight years ago, she moved to Europe and began studying music, where she developed a deep passion for jazz. She currently leads the Between Day and Night project with great enthusiasm and has written and arranged various songs as part of this project.
Singing has always been my big passion. In 2016, I started as a Lounge Singer. Accompanied by keyboard or guitar, I performed mostly Jazz and Pop live in several upscale restaurants and bars.
I did a bachelor in Jazz Vocal at WIAM in Wintherthur, Switzerland. I played piano as a second instrument, but also started to discover the double bass.
In 2025 I will start my a pre-bachelor for double bass at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
